à ArnoldLayne2000 : She got into the industry for the same reason many women did back in the 80s and 90s: money. And back then, the profit margins were fat and a successful star who invested her money wisely made bank and could be financially secure in the future. Not sure about Racquet’s net worth, but I personally know 2 women who were porn stars in the late 1980s and were fortunate enough to have a good financial advisor. They left the business and occasionally do nostalgia type shows where they sell their autographed pictures and make decent side money. It was a different industry back then, one both women have said has totally changed, and for the worse. They’re also very critical, and rightly so, of today’s so-called content creators. The consensus among the veteran porn stars is that the porn industry as you knew it is doomed. AI will be the game changer and today’s content creators will be unemployed within a year or two. It’s interesting to note that as of my last conversation with them, each has invested money in AI adult entertainment development. From what I understand, they’re investing in an AI company that will allow users to customize their own models to the smallest detail possible and create incredibly realistic videos that can include the user in action with thei custom model. The best is yet to come.

I always wondered why Racquel Darrian got into the porn industry to begin with. She is way too gorgeous for porn. Not complaining, mind you. I just think she could have been a legit model ... Victoria's Secrets or the like. I always thought the dude she married was a douche, too.
